Down payment assistance programs available for Houston, or Harris County, Texas.

 


Down payment assistance has been available from both Houston city and Harris County government programs in many different forms and with much different criteria over the years. A lot of the funds have been supplied through Federal housing programs with the current rules of supply and distribution varying considerably. 1.  Past Houston, or Harris, housing assistance programs.

In years past there have been a wide range of assistance programs and guidelines for them, there are fewer programs these days and qualifying criteria has changed with them.
